Favour Izoukumor Joins Governor Sheriff At The Groundbreaking Ceremony For The Reconstruction Of Dual Carriage-Way Project In Effurun, Uvwie LGA.

Earlier today, 14th October, 2025. Chief (Hon.) Favour Izoukumor participated on the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of Dual Carriage-Way on the Warri/Sapele/Benin road from the end of the U-Turn at the spare parts market Effurun to Ohore junction before Ometa bridge Uvwie/Okpe LGA's by the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevweri.

The highly anticipated infrastructure project marks a significant milestone in the Governor’s MORE Agenda, which aims to advance meaningful development, opportunities for all, realistic reforms, and enhanced peace and security across the state. Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly enhance transportation efficiency, stimulate economic growth, and strengthen the overall security framework of Delta State.

“This road is not just a means of transportation; it is the lifeline of our state’s economy. Its reconstruction will ease the movement of goods and people, reduce travel time, and attract investment. I sincerely thank His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his steadfast commitment to infrastructural development and for making this project a reality,” Hon. Izoukumor stated

The groundbreaking ceremony attracted a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, including top government officials, Members of the Delta State House of Assembly, Commissioners, Local Government Chairmen, Senior Governor aides, Traditional Rulers, Traditional Chiefs, Clergy, and other notable personalities from across the state.
