Favour Izoukumor Joins Colleague, Dr. Ebenezer Okorodudu For The Funeral Rites Of HRM Ovie M.O.P Ovbagbedia JP At Olomu Kingdom

Yesterday, 18th day of October, 2025, Chief Favour Izoukumor was honored to join his colleague, Dr. Ebenezer Okorodudu, Executive Director of Projects at DESOPADEC, for the funeral rites of His Royal Majesty, Ovie M.O.P Ovbagbedia, JP, Uhurhie-Osadjere II, the Ohworode of the ancient Olomu Kingdom.

Olomu Kingdom is renowned for its warmth and hospitality and this my recent visit was nothing short of. However, it is deeply saddening that it was the passing of this revered monarch who was a true moral compass and a guide for the public good that brought me to the kingdom, Chief Izoukumor, added.

Again, Hon. Izoukumor, extend his sincere condolences to the immediate family, my colleague, Dr Ebenezer and the hospitable people of Olomu Kingdom for this irreparable loss.

In a significant political development, Ughelli North Local Government Legislators, led by Rt. Hon. Okeoghene Prosper Ajero has announced their decision to join the All Progressive Congress (APC) in a plenary help today, 13th May, 2025.
