JARO EGBO FLAGS OFF FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH FOR UGHELLI NORTH CONSTITUENTS TO MARK HIS ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN OFFICE.

.. Emphasize the need to give proper attention to our health to avert sudden death of members of our communities.

As part of the activities to mark the first Anniversary of the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government council , Olorogun (Barr) Jaro Movudu Egbo Ksc, the Executive Chairman organized a one-day free medical Outreach for citizens and residents of Ughelli North Local Government Area.

The outreach, which is taking place at the Ughelli North Local Government Secretariat Hall, is aimed to provide services such as Health talk/ Medical Consultation, Free Medical check up, Laboratory test, treatment of patients, Free medication, Free family planning, and Free Eye Test and Reading Glasses among others..

In his remarks, the Council Boss, Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc stated that his administration has placed a premium priority on the health sector, adding that his administration will continue to complement the effort of the president and the state government in ensuring that the citizens are free from silent killer diseases and other illnesses.

The Council Chairman commended the Executive Secretary of the Ughelli North Health Services and his team of Health workers for their dedication, cooperation, and selfless services in ensuring the safety of lives in the local area despite the inadequate facilities in some Primary Healthcare centers.

Barr Jaro Egbo encourages the good people of Ughelli North Local Government Area to take advantage of this free medical outreach by participating fully in this exercise, adding that Everything is provided Free of Charge for participants.

The Executive Secretary, Local Government Health Authority, Dr Tega Ighovo praised the Council Chairman for his unwavering commitment to the health sector of Ughelli North Local Government Area, describing the Chairman as a visionary leader.

He advised the Ughelli North indigenes and inhabitants to take care of their health by knowing their health status. The need for routine check-ups and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle cannot be overemphasized, Dr Tega stated.

Similarly, Dr Gloria who spoke on behalf of the delegation from the Federal Ministry of Health and the Delta State Ministry of Health, commended the Executive Chairman for his exemplary leadership and vision, adding that Ughelli North top the chart among other local government areas in the area of health service provision in the entire state and the country at large.

'I make bold to say, that Ughelli North Local Government Area tops the chart when it comes to health services in Delta State, vis-à-vis, Nigeria, stating that there is a wonderful synergy between the three tiers of government (Federal, State, and Local). Dr Gloria stated emphatically.

She encouraged the people of Ughelli North to continue to work with the Executive Chairman of the local government Council, Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc to ensure that their health is maintained at all times, adding that health is wealth and well-being.
