Jaro Egbo Reiterates His Commitment To Maintaining Peace And Security Across The LGA, As He Resolved The Leadership Crisis Bedeviling Ovara-Unukpo Community In Orogun Kingdom

JARO EGBO REITERATES HIS COMMITMENT TO MAINTAINING PEACE AND SECURITY ACROSS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA, AS HE RESOLVED THE LEADERSHIP CRISIS BEDEVILING OVARA - UNUKPO COMMUNITY OROGUN KINGDOM....

In a bid to restore peace and tranquility to Ovara-Unukpo of Orogun kingdom over their leadership tussle which has led to the breakdown of laws and litigations by both factions, the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government, Olorogun Barr Jaro Movudu Egbo Ksc, convened a peace and security meeting of the warring groups, stakeholders of the kingdom, and the security agencies to resolve differences and provide a lasting solution.

The Council Chairman after hearing from both leaders of the warring groups and other prominent leaders of the community, advised both groups to go back home, maintaining peaceful coexistence as brothers, urging them to always follow the Ovara-Unukpo constitutional provision in their subsequent elections to avoid repetition of the current leadership crisis bedeviling the community..

The following decisions were reached as a measure to maintain peace and security in the community, the resolution includes:

1) That there is nothing like Orogun -Efe Kingdom and Ovara - Efe community in Orogun Kingdom, that anybody caught promoting these names will be treated as a traitor and will be arrested and charged with treason.

2) That Everybody in the community should accept and recognize Pa Ekakene Oseghe as the Okororho of Ovara-Unukpo Orogun community.

3) That the community should as a matter of peace, withdraw all court cases.

4) That Chief Godspower Osirim should be allowed to produce his candidate in the next youth election.

5) That everyone should strictly adhere to the constitution of the Ovara-Unukpo community of Orogun kingdom

6) Finally, the community should call for a general meeting through the Okororho of Ovara-Unukpo to reconcile all interest groups together.

Barr Jaro Egbo thanked the community for the peaceful resolution reached and promised his administrative commitment to partnering with them for the sustainable development of the community. He cautions against disobedience from any member of the community who will go against the resolution reached so far, declaring that such a person will be made to face the law as a troublemaker.
